Chapter 2
The Ghost That Spoke
House Farm, Parham, Suffolk
“House Farm is much like many others a person would see if they travelled along the
highways and byways of the county of Suffolk. Its farmhouse is neither grand in architecture
nor rich in history. But to my family it was theirs; as was much of the land that surrounded it
for miles in every direction. Though not my home, it was still one to me, for I spent more time
here than at my own. But of greater import was that it did begin to explain who I was and
why I felt as I do; out of place in this modern world; in a time, which is not my own. For it
was on the day of a visit here, that I first did see the flames of redemption. This momentous
event was to be the start of a journey back through time into my past lives - incarnations that
had only brought death, misery, pain and destruction through fire and flame to an almost
countless number of souls; souls who had the rare and great misfortune to be present in the
wake of my temporal journeys across the centuries in my quest for the Devil’s Arsonist.”
